Welcome to Styled. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data.
Information We Collect
When you use Styled, we collect the following information:
- Email address — used to create and manage your account
- Photos — images of clothing items you choose to upload, stored securely in your personal account
- Location — only accessed when you use the weather-based outfit feature, and never stored or shared
- Profile information — names and types of household profiles you create within the app
How We Use Your Information
We use your information solely to provide and improve the Styled app experience:
- To authenticate your account and keep your data secure
- To store and display your wardrobe items and saved outfits
- To generate weather-appropriate outfit suggestions when requested
- To provide AI-powered auto-tagging features (Styled Pro only)
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, an industry-standard cloud platform with encryption at rest and in transit. Row-level security policies ensure that your data is only ever accessible by you — no other user can view, access, or modify your wardrobe or profiles.
Third-Party Services
Styled uses the following third-party services:
- Supabase — secure database and file storage
- Anthropic Claude API — powers AI auto-tagging (Styled Pro only); photos are processed and not stored by Anthropic
- OpenWeatherMap — provides weather data for outfit suggestions; only your approximate location is sent and is not stored
- Google AdMob — serves ads to free tier users; subject to Google's privacy policy
We Never Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with any third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Ever.
Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at briannads777@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Styled is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
